Certified Centerless Grinding, formerly Certified Grinding and Machine was established in 1962 by Paul F. Sage. It quickly became a pillar of the American manufacturing and industrial base in Rochester and nationwide. In 2003 CG&M was acquired by Robert Rock, who expanded the customer base and our reputation for quality production. In 2024, ownership transferred to Asteria Technologies, a holding company with a singular purpose: Growing and Reconstituting the American manufacturing and industrial base. Under the leadership of Christopher Duncan, Asteria Technologies is proactively investing in the Rochester area and other communities. We believe the keys to success are happy customers, happy employees, extreme precision, and rapid delivery speed. We have everything we need on our own shores.
